Here’s a good find as my taste buds try the much recommended resto at the heart of Quezon City.
Tiago prides itself for serving “progressive Filipino cuisine”.
Located at Scout Fuentebella, Bgy. Sacred Heart, this resto is a respite from the row of fast-food joints and restaurants along Tomas Morato.
Its specialty includes Pinausukang Chicken & Pork Adobo; butterflied fried Tilapia; rellenong pusit; shrimps in taba ng talangka; bangus belly with ensalada.
Tiago gives a nice twist to our Filipino faves of veggies. They serve pinakbet warm salad and chopsuey cold salad.
Appetizers include stuffed pechay in coconut cream; fried salmon belly strips, inihaw na tilapia roll and tokwa’t baboy.
You surely won’t be able to resist the all Filipino fave viands such as Tapsilog (rib-eye), pork sisig, humba with poque poque salad, lechon and Bicol express.
The menu tastes well with a serving of tinapa rice, tuyo rice or adobo rice.
Cap your sumptuous meal with their house specialty– leche flan made of coconut cream flan with tablea chocolate sauce topped with sweetened saba. The breaded suman with tablea chocolate sauce, latik and mango slices is also a must try.
They also serve premium wines such as Catarrati d’ Alessandro and Trebbiano/Chardonnay.
