Eco-Tourism Village in Cagayan de Oro

Looking for a place to stay in Cagayan de Oro? If you love to commune with nature, learn about some tribal communities in the country, and have some fun, then you may want to billet at the Gardens of Malasag, an eco-tourism village.

It is such a nice place where groups can conduct team-building activities and enjoy nature. The watershed is a seven-hectare property in Malasag, which is being maintained by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA).

The preserved area is located on top of a mountain that overlooks a big lake in the province.

Cottages range from P1800 to less than P3000 a night for group sharing. You get to have free breakfast for the package.

Since it is maintained by the TIEZA, the rates are cheaper compared to the commercial hotels in the city. It has its own restaurant that showcases some of CDO’s specialties.

There is also a swimming pool for your recreation, possibly a nice way to de-stress from the daily busy office schedule.
